Neukölln Art Prize

There is an abundance of high-quality work produced in Neukölln’s vibrant art scene.
The Neukölln Art Prize, established by the Department of Culturere, flects this richness and professionalism. Each year, the call for applications, organised by Kulturnetzwerk Neukölln, invites artists who live or have a studio in Neukölln to apply for the Neukölln Art Award.

Eight of them are nominated by a jury of seven experts for the art award, which is endowed with a total of 6,000 euros. Their works will be honoured in a group exhibition at the Galerie im Saalbau. The day before the award ceremony, the jury will meet again at the exhibition to select the three winners (1st prize: 3,000 euros, 2nd prize: 2,000 euros, 3rd prize: 1,000 euros).

The Neukölln Art Prize is a cooperation between the Department of Culture and the Kulturnetzwerk Neukölln e. V. (Neukölln Cultural Network). The event is supported ideologically and financially by the STADT UND LAND Wohnbauten-Gesellschaft mbH.

Deadline for 2023: 31 October 2022
