TAKING SPACE IS A FEMINIST ACT

🚨 OPEN CALL 🚨 Critical Entries

Critical Entries is part of the exhibition TAKING SPACE IS A FEMINIST ACT - and takes over the LIVErary for the period from 17.05 - 13.07! 📚💥

The LIVErary is a dynamic library about collective urban practice - mobile, open, active. During the takeover of Critical Entries, the focus will be entirely on queer-feminist perspectives on space. We are exhibiting the contributions already collected and new voices from you. We are looking for your contributions!

Whether short text, zine, manifesto, guide or documentary - we invite FLINTA* and allies to share their queer-feminist perspectives on the city, space and collective practice with us.
You can exhibit your submissions together with us at the vernissage on May 16 between 6:00 - 10:00 pm at LIVErary - or bring them by later during the ongoing exhibition. Come by, bring along, share knowledge, take up space!

TAKING SPACE IS A FEMINIST ACT explores the transformative force of queer-feminist spatial practices.
Public space is not equally safe and accessible for everyone: visible and invisible barriers make it difficult for women and other marginalized groups to participate.
At the interface between resistance and care, the exhibition deals with artistic practices and initiatives that subversively occupy spaces, create protest platforms or initiate places for solidarity, exchange and visibility.
