Guided exhibtion tour with the curator and artists

Neuköllner Kunstpreis 2026

Neukölln is a vibrant and important location for Berlin’s contemporary art scene. With a large number of studios, art spaces, and project rooms, the district has developed into an important center for creative production.

From a large number of applications, the six-member expert jury nominated a total of eight artists who live or work in Neukölln. The Galerie im Saalbau is presenting the nominees’ work in a group exhibition. This gives visitors an authentic insight into the diverse artistic output of Neukölln’s artists.

The exhibition’s curator, Nina Marlene Kraus, and curatorial assistant Johanna Engemann will guide visitors through the exhibition together with the artists Selma Laura Köran and Tatsuma Takeda.

The tour will be conducted in German and English.

The event is part of the Women Art Open initiative organized by the Aktionsbündnis fair share!. More information here.
