Finissage + Performance by Sunny Pudert

n e b u l a

The exhibition n e b u l a concludes with a finissage and the performance HELGA by Sunny Pudert.

In HELGA, Sunny Pudert unfolds a figure oscillating between myth and the present, appearing as a mirror of collective desires, fears, and resistances. A poetic scenery emerges between ritual and narration, where the mythical flickers through the documentary – an allegory of control and loss, a choreography of urban fragments, and a ritualized engagement with language as both weapon and shield.
The figure of Helga Daemona from the unconventional work of Czech philosopher Ladislav Klíma served as inspiration.

Sunny Pudert studied Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig (HGB) and at the Braunschweig University of Art, as well as European Literatures at Humboldt University of Berlin. Her practice investigates how identity is intertwined with the social, cultural, and architectural structures of urban space – and how desire inscribes itself into this built environment.
