Award ceremony Neuköllner Kunstpreis 2024

We cordially invite you to the award ceremony of the Neukölln Art Prize 2024 at Heimathafen Neukölln and exhibition opening in the gallery in Saalbau. The nominees and the award winners will be presented to the public at a festive ceremony on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 7 pm at Heimathafen Neukölln (Karl-Marx-Strasse 141, 12043 Berlin).
The Galerie im Saalbau will be open from 6 - 10 pm.

Neukölln has already been the creative epicenter of Berlin for many years. The national and international art scene creates a wealth of artistic production in the district, which is to be honored with the Neukölln Art Award. More than 130 artists living or working in Neukölln applied again this year. Seven of them were nominated by a jury of five experts for the art prize, which is endowed with a total of 6.000 euros.
The Galerie im Saalbau will present the works of the nominees in a group exhibition. This gives visitors an authentic insight into the multi-layered production and special quality of the works of Neukölln artists, which are created here every day in countless studios, apartments and project spaces.

A special prize will be awarded by STADT UND LAND Wohnbauten-Gesellschaft mbH in the form of a purchase.

The awards are endowed with a total of 6.000 euros:
1st prize - 3.000 Euro
2nd prize - 2.000 Euro
3rd prize - 1.000 Euro

Admission is free and no pre-registration is required.
