Finissage

We cordially invite you to the finissage of the exhibition Do you feel me now? — Perception of women between reality and projection, together with the artists Julie Legouez and Evelina Reiter.

Do you feel me now?, sings Spears defiantly and forms thus the symbolic figure at the center of the exhibition.
Inspired by this line, Julie Legouez, Evelina Reiter and Shona Stark work on the themes of self-perception, social expectations and the pursuit of perfection. In a humorous and critical manner and through sculptural, graphic and multimedia methods the artists examine the invisible mechanisms and socio-culturally rooted prejudices that shape perceptions of female identity.
The exhibition invites visitors to question the complex and often contradictory notions of femininity generated by the media and to develop a realistic perspective on female identity in our society.
