Neukölln Art Prize 2023

The exhibition with the nominees for the Neuköllner Kunstpreis at Galerie im Saalbau will be open from Friday, February 3, 2023, from 6 to 10 pm.

The festive award ceremony of the Neuköllner Kunstpreis 2023 will take place on Friday, February 3, 2023, 7 pm at Heimathafen Neukölln.

Neukölln has already been the creative epicenter of Berlin for many years. The national and international art scene creates a wealth of artistic production in the district, which is to be honored with the Neukölln Art Award. More than 180 artists living or working in Neukölln applied again this year. Seven of them were nominated by a jury of five experts for the art prize, which is endowed with a total of 6,000 euros.
The Galerie im Saalbau will present the works of the nominees in a group exhibition. This gives visitors an authentic insight into the multi-layered production and special quality of the works of Neukölln artists, which are created here every day in countless studios, apartments and project spaces.
