Guided tour with the curators
Neukölln Art Prize 2023
Curators Yolanda Kaddu-Mulindwa and Lena Fließbach will guide visitors through the exhibition in a conversation with artists Friederike Hammann, Katharina Reich, and Sarah Wohler.
Friederike Hammann presents her Dark Diary, an ongoing series of abstract, somber drawings that accompany Russia’s war of aggression on Ukraine. Katharina Reich’s work explores her origins and identity as well as historical and cultural references. She creates ephemeral systems of order from collections of everyday objects. Sarah Wohler’s installation is a search for a place of belonging and security. It will be reconstructed by the artist during the exhibition.
